My Tho - Ben Tre - Can Tho-
Cai Rang Floating Market – Sai Gon
Day 1 : Sai Gon – My Tho – Ben Tre- Can Tho
An unforgettable way of seeing the Mekong Delta is driving along the provincial roads on the Southern region of Vietnam through paddy rice- fields, pineapple plantations, orchards and small hamlets.
After arriving in My Tho City, tourists have a chance to visit one of the most famous pagodas named VINH TRANG with special architecture which is combined between the Eastern and Western styles. To continue the tour, you go on a local boat to travel along Dragon Island, Unicorn Island, Phoenix Island, Turtle Island. On the boat, you can see the fishing port, Rach Mieu bridge, stilt houses, boat building workshops. Then we stop at the famous Unicorn Island.
At the Unicorn Island, you take a short trek to see the fruits gardens. You can also enjoy tropical fruits, natural honey tea and wine at a bee farm and Vietnamses traditional music showed by the locals.
Then tranfer to a small motor boat to travel along the lush green canals, and stop at a local restaurant for Vietnamese-styled lunch. You can ride the bike around the village and visit crocodile farm or take a rest on hamock or study how to pass the monkey bridge.
A rowing boat carries you slowly through the canals which are full of fresh air and water-coconut trees.
After that, you continue your motor boat trip to Ben Tre province.
The horse-car takes you to the village to visit a hand-made coconuts candy workshop and see the locals making the rice noodles.
Boat takes you back to My Tho, then the bus drives you to Can Tho. Stay one night in Can Tho.
Day 2: Can Tho - Cai Rang Market- Sai Gon
Waking early in the morning and have breakfast before taking a motorboat to Cai Rang Floating Market where colorful boats are carrying and selling fruits, vegetables, or even hot sop and cold coffee on the boats.
Continue cruising along the river and get to a local village on an island. Take a walk through the magnificent scenery and get close to the residents as they go about their daily routines. Visit a flea market, a noodle factory, and tropical fruit gardens like papaya, mango, and pineapple…
Have lunch at a local village. After that, take a moment to cycle (optional activities) around the village, and a little walk, … before heading back to Ho Chi Minh City.
